Calibration Procedure
ASME B89.4.1:1997 consists of As Found and As Left data from either the Linear Laser, Gage Blocks, Ballbar, Squareness, Granite Square, Probe Repeatability and Ballbar Volumetric are reported on a certificate issued on site.
Calibration procedure for ISO 10360-5 includes a calibrated sphere will be measured with 25 equally spaced points to verify the manufacturer or customer’s provided specification for MPEp the results will be report on a calibration certificate.

Our Calibration Services Include
Laser Interferometer
Omni-Tech technicians are accredited to use a Laser Interferometer to check Linear Accuracy, Straightness and Angularity checks on CMMs to adjust and certify your CMM accuracy.
B89 Ballbar
Omni-Tech technicians are accredited to use a Ballbar to check Squareness and Volumetric accuracy of CMMs in accordance with ASME B89.4.1:1997
Gage Blocks
Omni-Tech technicians are ISO 17025:2017 accredited to use Gage Blocks per ISO 103602-2 to perform complete calibrations including Linear Accuracy and Volumetric Accuracy to certify your CMM.
